Langland takes home four trophies at the 2022 Communiqué Awards
London, UK, Friday 8 July: Langland triumphed at the Communiqué Awards last night, taking home four of a possible nine accolades. This makes Langland the most awarded agency on the night. The agency took top billing in the categories: Excellence in Patient Programmes, Excellence in Medical Affairs-Led Scientific Exchange, Excellence in Engagement Through Social Media/Digital Channels – Over £51,000 and Innovation in Scientific Communications.
The Communiqué Awards recognise, reward and commend excellence and best practice in healthcare communications. The programme has a strong focus on measurable outcomes, recognising work that has made a demonstrable difference to the lives of people living with, or treating, health conditions. Last night, over 900 key industry figures and decision-makers gathered at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane to celebrate the best the industry has to offer.
“Back in September 2020, in the midst of a global pandemic, we made the decision to bring four legacy brands together to create a different kind of agency,” comments Victoria Wright, Chief Executive Officer, Langland. “We could see there was a need for an agency that thinks and works across the entire spectrum of healthcare comms, and that has the ability to operate without barriers enabling the assembly of teams with diverse skills and experience. Winning four awards across our interconnected disciplines, proves that we were right to do so. I could not be more proud of our team – together with our client partners we have created something powerful, unique and – importantly – that makes a difference to patients’ lives.”
Langland received 11 nominations in nine categories, spanning all four of the agency’s disciplines – Clinical Trial Experience, Medical Strategy & Education, Public Relations & Policy, and Advertising – including two cross-discipline projects.
